THE REASON WHY DEZYNE BEGAN IS QUITE UNIQUE. I HAD BEEN PLANNING THIS SINCE 2016, AS I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE A “BOOK OF BUSINESS” (CLIENTS) FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER.

In 2019, it was sold to another company as I was unable to come up with the funding. However, this didn’t last long as the new owner didn’t see eye-to-eye with the franchise owners, therefore they decided to break the contract.

Once again, I tried to obtain the funds, and finally found a way to do it! When I called the franchise to advise them, they told me they had decided to sell it to another franchise owner in a different territory that had shown interest and they wanted me to go work for him.

The problem is, I had actually sought this person’s advice on how to obtain funds and we had even discussed a potential partnership IF I couldn’t obtain the full funding – and next thing you know he’s buying it and they want me to work for him!

A very wealthy business owner said to me: “if you give up that easily, you don’t deserve to be in business!” So, I put my big girl pants on and decided to take the leap of faith and founded Dezyne in November 2019, with hopes that my clients would follow me.

I am very happy to report that approximately 75 percent of my clients followed me immediately. We know we can’t win them all – but as time goes by, they seem to still be knocking on our door, as they miss our good old-fashioned, hand-holding customer service.

The Dezyne Family of clients keeps on growing and growing as the old way of selling group benefits doesn’t work anymore. Clients deserve better and we are here to help them. Our main focus is employee group benefits where most brokers sell group benefits as their sideline, therefore with them, service is almost non-existent.
