This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today we feature Nicole MacLean and Abdel Latreche of Co_Pain in Moncton.
WE ARE A COMMUNITY BORN OF ANOTHER COMMUNITY. CO_PAIN STARTED FROM THE HEART OF A LOCALLY OWNED DAYCARE. THE CHEF AND OWNERS WERE PASSIONATE ABOUT THE TRADITIONAL TASTE OF BREAD AND STARTED CREATING DELICIOUS BREAD TO PLEASE CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES. THIS BLOOMED FROM SELLING AT THE MONCTON MARKET TO THE BUSTLING BUSINESS WE ARE TODAY.
In the past few years, it is more important than ever that we support each other.
In supporting local we see the quality and heart in everything produced here. Local traditions are blossoming, which has a cultural impact on our city and province. We support people’s creativity, ingenuity, uniqueness, and livelihood.
We continue to make connections with local people and businesses. They are our friends and neighbours. For us, it has become a community of people that supports each other. Supporting local means supporting everything that makes our community unique, charming, and original.
