This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today we feature Mahmoud Elsaid of La Diperie, in Dieppe.

I FELT I HAD THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE COURAGE TO START A BUSINESS IN THE GREATER MONCTON AREA DUE TO THE ACCELERATED MARKET DYNAMICS AND OUR WISH TO CONTRIBUTE TO ITS GROWTH BY INTRODUCING A CANADIAN FRANCHISE IN THE PROVINCE TO SERVE AND SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY AND OFFERING NEW CHOICES AND HIRING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCALS AND STUDENTS.

I really believe in the concept of supporting local. Local can be described as the biggest and most important sector for the economy.

A healthy economy comes from supporting local business and also opening the door for hiring locals and students, which is also playing a major role in our common success and growth.

Everyone plays a role in local success, that’s the best thing about it.
