This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Kristy Hansen of Homes with Hansen in Moncton.
I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR HOMES. IT WAS AFTER THE PURCHASE OF OUR THIRD PROPERTY THAT I KNEW THIS WAS THE CHALLENGE I’VE BEEN WAITING TO CONQUER. HAVING RENOVATED AND FLIPPED MULTIPLE PROPERTIES, FREELANCED AS A PROFESSIONAL FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER AND BUILT A STRONG CAREER IN PROFESSIONAL SALES, I KNEW HOMES WITH HANSEN WAS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO SUCCESSFULLY MERGE ALL MY PASSIONS.
Homes with Hansen allow homeowners to enjoy the process without feeling overwhelmed. The classic saying “It takes a village” has never been more true.
This past year we have been forced to rely on our communities more than ever. We must interact and support one another in order for us all to evolve not only as business owners but as individuals and communities as a whole.
When I started Homes with Hansen I vowed that every gift I give a client is always from a local business. This is one of my favourite moments with a client, handing them the keys to their new home with a basket full of local goodies thanking them for their continued trust and support.
This past year my business has evolved at a rapid rate. I am looking forward to all the new sets of challenges to come but I am just enjoying the ride. I love what I do and do not want to wish this time away. I am enjoying the moments as they come and will constantly be planning and forecasting the future.
Homes with Hansen have high ceilings and even bigger dreams. Supporting local businesses has a real impact because we must interact and support one another in order for us all to evolve not only as business owners but as individuals and communities as a whole.
