This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Joshua Lavigne of Camping Beauséjour and Idunno TakeOut in Shediac.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO OWN MY OWN BUSINESS FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. WHEN THIS OPPORTUNITY CAME ALONG, MY WIFE TRACY AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT BUSINESS TO BE IN.
The reason I always wanted my own business is that I wanted an opportunity to have something to call my own that I could operate under my own terms, as far as customer service goes. Nothing compares to working so hard on your customer experience and having them give you good, positive feedback. It warms my heart every time.

These past months, I have learned that there are a lot of good, caring people that need your support as much as you do and I am a firm believer that we are all in this together.
Moving forward, I’d like to add more sites to the campgrounds and also spread the word about Idunno Takeout. Once that is done, the sky is the limit!
