This is the first in a year-long ‘Love for Local‘ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Every day, a new portrait will be shared through Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Huddle, a media partner with Love for Local.
JOHN AND LINDA GODFREY OPENED THE HOMESTEAD RESTAURANT IN RIVERVIEW ON JANUARY 1, 1991, AT 6:45 AM AND TOOK THEIR VERY FIRST BREAKFAST ORDER ON JAN 1, 1991, AT 6:46 AM.
Since then, the well-known restaurant hasn’t stopped being a beloved gathering space for families and friends. The lineup has been consistent out the door of the restaurant since the beginning. Over the years, every order has been an opportunity to add a smile to someone’s day and to catch-up with members of the community.
After 30 years in business, John and Linda show no signs of slowing down. The Homestead is more than a delicious breakfast – it is a staple of Riverview, where people come to eat and gather with one another. Smiling faces, delicious food, an entrepreneurial spirit and a true slice of east coast hospitality await you at The Homestead Restaurant.
