his is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Joel Cadieux of An Octopus’ Garden Cafe in Alma.
A LOVE OF FOOD, REAL FOOD MADE ME GO INTO BUSINESS! I WANTED TO SHARE THAT PASSION WITH OTHERS. I THINK SIMPLE, WHOLE FOODS MAKE THE BEST DISHES AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT I OFFER HERE.
Supporting local builds communities and makes them stronger. Every dollar supports local families that I know personally. It creates a future of supporting local by normalizing it so the next generation will naturally support local first.
What’s next for me is to continue what I do, to grow, to share, to educate, to find more local suppliers with new products that we can showcase. The sky is the limit here in New Brunswick!
