This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Alain Desrosiers of Joaillier Alain Desrosiers Jeweller in Shediac.
I ALREADY HAD MY OWN REPAIR AND MANUFACTURING SHOP AND WHEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER DECIDED TO CLOSE, WE DECIDED TO RENOVATE EVERYTHING TO OUR LIKING AND IT HAS BEEN SEVEN YEARS SINCE WE HAVE BEEN THE HAPPY OWNERS OF A JEWELRY STORE HERE IN SHEDIAC.
I would like to thank our loyal clientele and all those who came to support us as soon as the stores reopened. This gesture, which isn’t necessarily significant for some, makes all the difference for the merchants here, and it is heartwarming to meet so many people who wish you success.
We love our business and our place in the community. Local businesses have that local quality that helps colour the downtowns and streets of the communities they serve. We are the service we provide, but we are also active members of the community and contribute to our collective growth through our activities.
