This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today, we hear from Dwight and Cheryl Reimer of the Earle of Leinster in Saint John.
DOING BUSINESS IN NEW BRUNSWICK IS GREAT BECAUSE OF THE SUPER FRIENDLY PEOPLE. OUR GUESTS OFTEN ASK IF EVERYONE HERE TAKES FRIENDLY PILLS. THEY ARE OFTEN AMAZED AT HOW KIND EVERYONE CAN BE, WHETHER IT’S BY HELPING THEM OUT WITH DIRECTIONS OR STOPPING CARS TO LET PEDESTRIANS CROSS THE STREET.
We came from British Columbia eight and half years ago and we are still marvelling at this beautiful province, especially in the fall. We keep telling our guests to come back and stay for at least 2-3 days to have an opportunity to explore our beautiful region.
We feel so blessed to be doing what we are doing. We get a chance to vicariously visit (through our guests) so many places around the globe. Their stories and places are all unique!
We love it when our guests leave full. Both physically and emotionally. They have not only had a good rest but also enriched their lives by experiencing Saint John.
Like everyone, the pandemic has had an impact on us. We chose to stay positive though and enjoy the break from 12-hour days. We have also taken the time to be tourists ourselves and we have fallen in love all over again with New Brunswick. The support from New Brunswickers allows us to enjoy meeting people from all over the world and offer them our best services.
