This is part of a year-long ‘Love for Local’ series called NB365: portraits of New Brunswick entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations. Huddle is a media partner with Love for Local. Today we feature Coral Shuai of By The River B&B, in Fredericton.
GOING INTO BUSINESS WAS OUR COMMITMENT TO A NEW LIFE IN CANADA.
For us, supporting local is essential to the economy of our province. We have to support each other to ensure the thriving of our communities.
The only reason our business could survive these past three years is the support from locals. We’re very grateful for that. In turn, we also support local with our business at every occasion.
Our fully renovated bed and breakfast combines classic historical features with modern convenience. The house dates back to 1903, and we have lovingly updated the home to accommodate eight guest suites, while retaining many original features.
In 2021, we had a new addition with 301 spa by the river, which is a fully equipped spa with modern elegance and classic touches. Our guests can enjoy their overnight stay with some relaxing spa services on-site.
We strive to carry on the identity of our community and give back as much as we can. Supporting local is a circle, and we’re glad we’re a part of it.
