As an Indigenous person, I had a strong desire to help those in my community. This motivated me to pursue a career in counselling. I have operated a private counselling practice for the last four years, which has now expanded to include consulting, facilitation, and product development. I’m currently looking at opportunities in career development, corrections, counselling, and Indigenous relations.

Supporting local is essential to our economy. I work alongside small local business owners every day. The sense of collaboration and support in Atlantic Canada amongst small business owners is astonishing and speaks to the value we all place on supporting local. It has a real impact because it builds careers and opportunities for people to live and find meaningful work here in Atlantic Canada.
